The Sons of the American Legion (SAL) is a vital organization formed in 1932, established to support and uphold the ideals and principles of the American Legion. Comprising male descendants of veterans, the SAL engages in various activities designed to honor and serve those who have served in the military. Members volunteer in community service projects, provide scholarships for students, and support veteran-related initiatives. With a strong focus on patriotism and community involvement, the SAL fosters camaraderie among its members while promoting the importance of service and sacrifice. Their motto, “By the Sons, for the Sons,” emphasizes commitment to legacy and remembrance.
